- “The modern scientist has lost God amid the wonders of His world.” (A. W. Tozer)
- Scientists aren't the only ones who can lose the Wonderful amid the wonders.
- Religious people can lose their sense of Jesus' wonder.
- Has Jesus become common to you?
- Have you lost Him amid all the parties, plans, tradition and gifts?
- Have you lost Him amid all the bad news the world assaults you with?
- Have you lost Him amid the weekly Sunday ritual?
- Jesus, the One who is “Wonderful”, wants you to be wonder-full.
- He wants you to wonder at Him, to be amazed by Him, to be utterly impressed by Him.
- He wants you to know that He is still “able to do far more abundantly beyond all that you ask or think” (Eph. 3:20).
- He wants you to know that He is still the Miracle Worker.
- He wants you to know that there is still nothing that is too difficult for Him (Jer. 32:27).
- He wants you to know that all authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth (Mt. 28:18) and that He is, right now, exercising that authority.
- Do you believe, as the Psalmist, that many are the wonders that the Lord my God has done (Psa. 40:5)
- He has done wonders for others.
- He has done wonders for you (Psa. 126:3).
- “I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene, and wonder how He could love me, a sinner condemned unclean.” (Charles H. Gabriel)
