WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A COUNSELOR?

• From his depository of knowledge and experience, a counselor facilitates requested assistance.
• He guides the inquirer from one point to the next, carefully marking and explaining each step.
• “The steps of a man are established by the Lord” (Psa. 37:23).
• He assumes the one seeking counsel will follow it.
• Jesus' counsel can't help you if you don't follow through with what He says.
