- People need advice. They don't know what to do.
- People lack clarity. They get confused and overwhelmed.
- People want change. They get stuck on an issue.
- People seek information. They want to curb their ignorance on a matter.
- People desire value. They need a listening ear, a person of empathy.
- Do we know such a Counselor – One who can instruct us what to do, One who can row through our foggy confusion, One who can mastermind change in the heart, One who knows everything about everything, One who is available 24/7 to listen?
- Yes. The name of this Wonderful Counselor is Jesus!
- “For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses...” (Heb. 4:15)
- “As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you...” (Isa. 66:13)
- “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.” (Psa. 32:8)
- "The righteous cry, and the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psa. 34:17-18)
