Recap. 05.29.11

• Attendance, 39. (It was a holiday weekend.)
• One guest. (It was her fourth time.  She's officially no longer a guest.)  Welcome to L.A.G., Lisa!
• Four of the six new converts were in service. (A fifth would've been here, but she had a problem with her brakes on the way to church.  She's okay.)
• There was no response to the call for salvation.  This left an ache in my soul.  I know someone needed to be saved!  Let's keep praying.  Absolutely.
• We began announcing the upcoming 24-hours of prayer.  Most in attendance signed-up for a half-hour time slot.  I'm going to push it again June 5.
• Preached part 5 in series "Small and Tall."  Sermon: "Getting Your Shout Back" (1 Sam. 17:20-53).  All who came to the altar received a spiritual refreshing.  For three it had been quite a long time (way too long) since they spoke in tongues.  The power of Jesus came upon them and they spoke fluently.  One was slain in the Spirit.
