Weekly Inspiration (05/27/17)

Savannah River, Savannah Rapids Park, Martinez, GA.

I call this shot "Four Turtles, One Rock."  Each turtle doesn't realize that the sun is equally as strong at the next rock.

Weekly Inspiration (12/31/16)

Bridge at Savannah Rapids Park in Martinez, GA

I chose this shot for today's "Weekly Inspiration" because its color and mood make me think of Summer. Warmer temperatures will be here before you know it.  Picture yourself walking across that bridge, sweltering beneath the Georgia heat.

Verse of The Week (12/30/16)

Shot taken from the Augusta Canal Locks at Savannah Rapids
Park in Martinez, GA on October 12, 2016 at 11:25 A.M.
This turtle decided it was time to get out of the current and rest above its pull.

Is the world's value system pulling you in?  Are you tired of fighting the current, sapped of joy and void of strength?  Jesus invites you to rest.  He is the Solid Rock and He's not going anywhere.

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." (Mt. 11:28)

In case you're wondering, that is Spanish moss hanging from the trees. I was told that it is a common sight.  This walk alongside the Savannah River was definitely worth it.
