Does And (Then) Teaches (Mt. 5:19)

Read Matthew 5:19.

1.  Both example and reproduction are necessary.

2.  Example comes first.  You reproduce what you are, more than what you say or suggest alone.

3.  Call for credibility:  let teaching flow from doing.  If this isn't the case, be honest.

My Prayer (02/17/16)

Oh!  For a sorrow that moves me to act!  Deliver me from a sorrow that affects emotion but not volition! What good is merely feeling badly?  That doesn't change my situation and it makes me only more burdened and frustrated.  Lord, once I see it and feel it, may I do something about it.  I don't have to do what's not in my ability or capability, but You do expect me to do what I can do.
