Read Matthew 23:25.
Lord, I don't often want to look too hard on the inside, since I'm afraid what I might find. You know I'd much rather pay attention to the outside. Resolved today, with the Holy Spirit's help, to live from integrity and not reputation. If death is on the inside, no outside alteration will change that. Lord, only You can make me clean on the inside and outside. My desire is to cooperate with Your work.
