- When you are faced with difficulty, to whom do you turn for counsel?
- If your source isn't Jesus, how has that worked for you?
- Is your situation any better?
- Has the wisdom of the experts worked?
- You're not satisfied, are you?
- Jesus wants to be your 24/7, never-absent, always-accurate personal Counselor (Col. 2:3).
- What is the content of His counsel?
- He will counsel you in the will of God.
- He will counsel you in the way of God.
- He will counsel you in the Word of God.
- What will be your response to Jesus' counsel?
- Response #1 is to welcome Jesus' counsel and bless Him for it (Psa. 16:7).
- Response #2 is to reject Jesus' counsel and (Job 21:14-15).
- Jesus will still love you, regardless of which option you choose.
- However, if you choose to reject His counsel, the quality of your life won't be the same (Prov. 1:20-33).
