Don't Play with Insanity

Don't play with insanity!  (Now that's a headline that will preach.)

I am happy to report no youth were permanently injured last night at Taste of Chili.  When I said, "If you use this, use only one drop," they must have thought I was joking. (I wasn't.)

Lessons learned:
  • Pay attention to directions.  One drop means one drop.
  • Dave's Ultimate Insanity Sauce is not a good topping for brownies.
  • When you try to be the hero, you can get burned.  God gave us taste buds for a reason.  Listen to them.
  • It is not a good idea to rub your eyes when using the hot stuff.
  • Be smart and learn quick.  When the first person's face contorts, it's a good sign you should reconsider your desire to participate.
I was really impressed with Len, though.  Gotta hand it to him.  He poured a teaspoon's worth on his chili!  Len, I can't see anybody topping that.  You win, man.  Evidently, fear is not a factor for you.
