- It is everlasting. That fact is only repeated 26 times, once per verse. There is no end to God's lovingkindness (Lam 3:22-23). Remember that the next time you're in a difficult situation.
- It is enigmatic. What was God's lovingkindness to Israel became anything but to Egypt and the other nations. Why does God allow some people to prosper while others suffer? No one has satisfactorily answered this dilemma. That is why relationship with God is based on faith, not total understanding. Our minds are finite. Some things are just too lofty for us to comprehend.
- It is everywhere. If you don't believe this, then everything in your life is due to chance. Everything. Come on! Do you really believe you got where you are because you're that lucky?
How aware are you of God's lovingkindness? For starters, you're breathing. Isn't that loving and kind of God?
