Thanks for the No Snow

Supposed to get ready for 2-5 inches. High winds to create near whiteout conditions. In Lockport, neither happened last night. Barely a dusting. (Hey, that's one plowing we don't have to pay for.) No lost power. Two bright sides from a potentially dangerous situation.

This is a good lesson in not letting things become bigger in our minds than they really are. Even when you're faced with all the facts, figures, maps, and predictions. In other communities, the storm delivered. Here in Lockport, it wasn't as bad as advertised. Not even close.
