Tares (Mt. 13:25)

Tares are substitutes, look-alikes, imitations.  They are well-disguised knock-offs.  They are only exposed for their fraud near the end of the growing cycle. Here are some tares in the spiritual realm.

• Reformation without regeneration
• Self-improvement without repentance
• Interest without involvement
• Graceful works without a work of grace
• Morality (good values) without justification (good standing)
• Commitment to Jesus without surrender to Jesus
• Religion (form) without relationship (power)

Remember, separation day is coming.
