- Delay doesn't mean disinterest.
- Don't leave Jesus, since He hasn't left you.
- Jesus is greater than every interruption and interjection of man.
- You can't listen to Jesus and to well meaning people at the same time. (This isn't about confirmation but competition. Whose report will you believe?)
- When Jesus has determined to do such-and-such for you, there is no deterring Him.

Five Observations On Mk. 5:21-43
Monday, March 21, 2016
Three Detractors From The Hope That Jesus Will Meet Your Need (Mk. 5:21-43)
There are three things that will "pull on you" to entice you to abandon hope that Jesus will minister to your need: delay (5:25-34), reason (5:35-36) and ridicule (5:37-40). Beware of them!
Observations:
- Delay doesn't mean disinterest.
- Don't leave Jesus, since Jesus won't leave you.
- Jesus is greater than every interruption and interjection of man.
- There are occasions when you can't listen to Jesus and to well-meaning people at the same time. Multiple voices compete for attention. Whose report will you believe?
- Once Jesus has determined to do such-and-such for you, there is no deterring Him.
