Without Prayer

Our next day of prayer is scheduled April 30 from 9:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M.

Without prayer nothing happens.  Without prayer nothing works.  Without prayer the status quo rules.  Without prayer the order of the day will be boredom, inefficiency and ineffectiveness.  Without prayer we sing songs but fall short of worship.  Without prayer we endure a religious lecture instead of experiencing a sermon where God speaks.  Without prayer the church shrinks and sins stink.  Without prayer no one gets saved.  Without prayer our witness is weak and our strength is sapped.  Without prayer we are easily overhwelmed.  Without prayer we are saying, "God, I can handle it by myself, thank You."

Without people who pray, the Day of Prayer is not a day of prayer.  It is merely a day those who didn't pray thought about maybe praying.  If you can only stop by for 10 minutes, great.  If you can stop by for an hour, great.  The important thing is that we pray.  Let's have a steady flow in and out all day.
