"See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled . . ." (Heb. 12:15)

Tree of Bitterness

I saw this tree during my walk yesterday.  This is a good illustration of what bitterness does to a person.  It twists, distorts and disfigures.  Bitterness delights to take something strong and make it weak, to take something straight and make it crooked, to take something beautiful and make it ugly.

"See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled." (Heb. 12:15)
