Thank You to All Who Served

While we who haven't served respectfully thank those who did, many veterans don't think they deserve thanks.  They would say, "Thank you, but we were just doing our duty." Spoken as true public servants.  Nonetheless, I'm grateful that they served.

For an average Ron like me, today is about gratitude.  For veterans today is about deflection and reflection.  Their discomfort at our gratitude is no invitation for our silence.
