Read Mk. 13:37.
1. Let us watch, lest we start to entertain the notion that Jesus won't return.
2. Let us watch, lest we entertain laziness by not utilizing given authority and not fulfilling our given assignments.
3. Let us watch, lest we become deceived, thinking there will be no consequence for laziness, indifference or presumption.
4. Let us watch, since this was the clear instruction given to us. (It was not only an instruction but also a command.)
