Read Mark 10:35-45.
1. Are you able and willing to implement what is required should God favorably answer your request? Prayer involves responsibility and obedience.
2. Do you understand what you're asking and what your words mean? God defines things differently than man does. Prayer involves clarity.
3. Have you submitted your request to God? Oh, you presented it, you made it known. Have you submitted it to God's sovereignty, though? Should God shut down or alter your request, would you be okay with that? Prayer involves submission.
