When Jesus Passes By (Lu. 18:35-36; 19:1-4)

Read Luke 18:35-36; 19:1-4.

The two characters are Bartimaeus (name gleaned from Mark's account) and Zacchaeus.

1.  The blind beggar, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out to Him (Lu. 18:35-36).
2.  The tax collector, hearing that Jesus was passing by, climbed into a tree to see Him (Lu. 19:1-4).
3.  What will you do when Jesus passes by?  Will you just let Him pass by?  Will you disrupt your ordinary behavior?  Will you heighten your expectation?  Will you do whatever it takes to engage Him?
