When You Don't See Jesus (Mk. 10:46-52) (Part 7)

Conclusion:

At the end of the story, Bartimaeus was healed. “Immediately he regained his sight . . .” (Mk. 10:52). To what did Jesus attribute this recovery of sight? Faith. “Go; your faith has made you well.” (Mk. 10:52).

Bartimaeus leaves us with one last lesson. When you don't “see” Jesus, testify until you can verify. When you don't “see” Jesus in your circumstances, affirm your faith until it is rewarded.

Let's review the six affirmations.
  • I don't see Him, but I know He's near me.
  • I don't see Him, but I've heard about Him.
  • I don't see Him, but I can call out to Him.
  • I don't see Him, but I know He hears me.
  • I don't see Him yet, but I will.
  • I don't see Him, but I will respond quickly when He calls me.
