If you don't do what's "necessary", then you can't step into your next appointment.
Jesus knew that He had to travel through Samaria. It wasn't until He walked in that general direction that He would eventually arrive at the specific place known as Sychar.
Concerning your next ministry assignment, let God worry about finalizing details. In the meantime, keep walking in the general direction He gives.
