The Issue Is Repentance (Lu. 3:7-9)

The issue isn't whether you call yourself a child of God.  The issue is whether you have repented.

How easy it is to bypass repentance!  Religion, experience, privilege or even Christian heritage can be that cozy blanket of security, lulling you to think you're okay because you're convinced you're not a bad person.

Settle it, my friend.  Without repentance you remain respectable but not Christ-like, religious but not regenerated, improved but not converted, baptized but not born again.
