Little Juniata River

Yesterday, Marshall and I enjoyed a day fishing (what else?) in south central Pennsylvania.  Spruce Creek and Little Juniata River were our destinations. With friendliness, professional knowledge and quality hand-tied flies, Spruce Creek Outfitters got us set for a great day.

It was a great day, even though I didn't catch anything.  Okay, I had a rainbow trout almost in, but it wiggled off before I could grab it.  I only count a fish "caught" if I hold it in my hand.

On the way home we stopped at Spruce Creek Tavern.  If you're ever in the area, you need to go for the french fries (Some things just have to be clarified when you're a pastor.)

Both shots were taken from the bridge in the town of Spruce Creek.
