- For you to be radical there must be systematic, thorough repentance. Repentance means to stop doing what offends God and start doing what pleases Him.
- For you to be radical there must be continued enthusiasm for and interaction with God's Word. There is no chapter 23 without chapter 22. Chapter 22 is about the re-discovery and recovery of God's Word. Read it and do it.
- For you to be radical you must be prepared to be unpopular, even hated. Great men such as Solomon and Hezekiah weren't as thorough as Josiah. Josiah took on deep-seated idolatry, with which many people seemed okay. Don't tolerate what God wants to obliterate. There are some people who can't seem to function without their idolatry. Eliminate that and they'll hate you.
- For you to be radical you must be patient. You can't undo everything at once! Repair and restoration take time. Implementing godly pursuits takes time, not to mention massive amounts of prayer.
- For you to be radical your number one priority must be the honor of God. Is God honored in your deeds, words, thoughts, intents and heart? Whatever you do, don't settle for religion! Have a personal relationship with God.
