- #WaterBaptism is not the means by which someone joins the church.
- #WaterBaptism is not the means by which someone becomes saved (born-again).
- The person who baptizes can't guarantee the veracity of a candidate's spiritual transformation.
- #Baptism was done by submersion. You can't make a word mean what it didn't. "Baptize" = submerge, immerse, plunge beneath.
- #WaterBaptism candidates declare 3 things: (1) born-again experience, (2) repentance of sin, (3) commitment to pursue a life that pleases Jesus.
- There is little difference between a dry sinner with no CONfession and a wet sinner with no PROfession. May the evidence follow the claim!
- #Repentance means a change of mind, change of direction and change of pleasure.
- #WaterBaptism is not the means by which someone's sins are forgiven. Only the blood of Jesus can do that.
- #Confession is telling God what He knows that you know He knows is true about what you've done.
- #Repentance might not be an exciting word but a dry, genuine repentance is better than a fraudulent, wet baptism any day.
