The Hard Assignment (Josh. 14:12)

Caleb asked for the hill country, knowing the terrain and its occupants (The Anakim were giants.) would be difficult.  At 80 Caleb was still courageous and faith-full.  Any normal man would've at least considered the easy assignment, the easy inheritance, the easy way out.  Caleb said, "Give me the hard place where the giants live.  Give me the difficult portion."  There is a strong call for that faith spirit today.  Don't settle for easy, smooth and routine.
