We're continuing to read through the Gospel of John. Today's reading is John 12:20-50.
The first two castings have already happened. The last three are yet to happen, but they are as sure as the first two.
1. Satan was cast out before Creation.
2. Satan was cast out at the cross (Jn. 12:31).
3. Satan will be cast onto the earth (Rev. 12:9).
4. Satan will be cast into a pit (Rev. 20:3).
5. Satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire (Rev. 20:10).
God throws around Satan like a dog plays with a chew toy. Not only is Satan cast out, he is cast under (Rom. 16:20).
