Three Essentials (Jn 3:1-21)

1. You must be born again (Jn 3:3-8). "That which is born of the flesh is flesh" (Jn 3:6a). That is true physically. That is true genealogically. (You will produce who you are.) Having Abraham as ancestor wasn't enough. That is true spiritually (Gal 5:19-21). "That which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (Jn 3:6b; 1:12-13).
2. You must believe in Jesus (Jn 3:9-18). Believe or don't. Salvation or condemnation. Eternal life or eternal death. The choice is yours.
3. You must live by the truth (Jn 3:19-21). Love the light or love the darkness. Come to the light or avoid the light. The choice is yours.
