Work Day 03.20.10

Thanks to all who surrendered their Saturday morning and worked so hard. Here are some of the things we completed. We...

• Cleaned out the hallway behind the baptistery.
• Started cleaning the counting room.
• Quick-fixed a leaky pipe in the women's bathroom.
• Raked the lawns to prepare for the first mowing.
• Changed 8 outlets and 2 switches in the sanctuary. All outlets, switches and plates now match.
• Installed hand railings at side-access stairs to the platform. Check out the shiny mounts.
• Dismantled the wooden bench in the old youth room.
• Installed a new threshhold at women's bathroom entrance.
• Installed 4 carbon monoxide detectors. Each level of the building has a detector.

Details matter. We take care of details in our homes. Why should it not be so in God's House? Again, thanks to all the workers.
