• Worship was sweet, but it took a while to get off the ground.
• Sermon: "Awe and Intimacy" (Prov 2:5) > The fear of God and the knowledge of God go together. It starts with fear. No fear, no knowledge. By knowledge, we mean more than information. Information that leads to experience and change. Continued from Lisa's sermon on the fear of the Lord (which was fantastic, by the way).
• First service with the new chairs. Everyone looked comfy.
• Described Pentecostals as "people of the umph." The Holy Spirit gives us something extra, something beyond the usual: zeal, enthusiasm and power that can take everything to the next level. If we're willing. If we get involved. If we respond.
• Introduced "new" chorus: "God of All" by Twila Paris
