I've lived in several places that could stake claim as "the most overcast city": Gorham, NH; East Syracuse, NY; Lockport, NY. What they have in common is overcast, gray skies days on end in the Winter. It has to do with prevailing wind patterns. That said...
Wasn't it great to see the sun in Lockport today! Not that peek-a-boo kind but the full scale, bright sun that started melting snow. We knew it was coming. Just had to wait it out.
In life there are seasons of overcast, gray skies days on end (or so it seems). The most popular questions are: (1) "God, what are you doing?" and (2) "God, when is this going to end?" Sometimes God answers question #1. Many times, God doesn't answer question #2. So what are we to do? Just like we waited for the sun that we knew would eventually shine, so we wait for deliverance that we know will eventually come.
Psalm 34:19
