Excited for Tomorrow

Why?
  1. Christmas is one of the 3 times each year we are almost guaranteed to have guests.
  2. Since many guests have never established relationship with Jesus, I get to preach the gospel and expect a harvest.
  3. It was so much fun to set up extra chairs, knowing guests may come.
  4. The odor from the carpet glue has diminished a lot since last Sunday.
  5. We're going to enjoy an offertory. Sorry, no other information is available until tomorrow. You'll just have to come out and discover for yourself.
  6. During the offertory, it will be great for me to sit down a few minutes before preaching.
  7. It is the last time I preach a full message until 2010. It's good to have a preaching break now and then. (And you need to hear a different voice now and then.)
  8. I really enjoy singing Christmas carols. There will be 3 sung tomorrow. Trying to mix it up so we're not repeating the same ones.
  9. We're not getting buried with snow like much of the northeast. Weather will not be a factor tomorrow.
  10. Christmas Sunday usually has a good attendance. So many have been out sick lately. It will be good to see the flock at large.
